We are living in a day when The Lord is bringing The Church into His End Time Alignment. Let me take you to the Old Testament to show you an example of what I mean.
One of the greatest symbols of The Lord was the Ark of the Covenant.
There was a time when all Israel had backslidden and The Lord allowed the Philistines to invade them. They had lost a battle and we see something very important and revealing in 1 Samuel 4:3 it says:
“…the elders of Israel said, Why has the LORD smitten us to day before the Philistines? Let us get the Ark of the Covenant of the LORD out of Shiloh and when it cometh among us, it may save us out of the hand of our enemies.” (emphasis mine). And so, Hophni and Phinehas, the sons of the High Priest, took the Ark into the battle but the Philistines won, and The Ark was taken.”
Please pay attention to what I am saying here. The people, even the Elders, rather than looking to The Lord for their deliverance and victory, they were looking to “the symbol of His Presence” instead!
People always look to “Symbols”…
Isn’t that still the way it is for so many people today?
Objects are “Status Symbols” making those who have them seem more important than others.
“Clothing” becomes a “Symbol” and people look to what they wear to “look important”.
People put their trust in their “Church Membership” or their Pastor. They look to men and women who are held up as “Great Leaders” today…
People seem to trust in someone else’s relationship with The Lord more than their own.
When we see The Ark of God taken in 1 Samuel 4:11 and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were slain in the battle. When Eli the High Priest heard this news (1 Samuel 4:18-22) “…he fell from off his seat and broke his neck, and he died”.
The End of the Old Order…
1 Samuel 4:19-22
Eli’s daughter in law, Phinehas’ wife was pregnant and when she heard the news she entered into labor and brought forth her son; “And she named the child Ichabod, saying, ‘The Glory’ is departed from Israel”.
The “Old Order” is over there is a “Transition Period” before the “New Order” comes.
1 Samuel 7:1-2
“And the men of Kirjath-jearim came, and fetched up the ark of the Lord, and brought it into the house of Abinadab in the hill, and sanctified Eleazar his son to keep the ark of the Lord. 2 And it came to pass, while the ark abode in Kirjathjearim, that the time was long; for it was twenty years: and all the house of Israel lamented after the Lord.
But finally, The Lord has the people He wants in place and He sets His Plan in motion…
THE NEW ORDER COMES…
When David became King, being a Prophet, he desired to bring the Ark of God back to the people of God. So David brought the Ark to Jerusalem with rejoicing and placed it in a special Tabernacle he had prepared for it. It was simply called “David’s Tabernacle”.
The amazing thing is that the Tabernacle of Moses was still standing in Gibeon and the Priests still offered up their daily sacrifices there.
So, why didn’t David bring the Ark there? You would think that is where it belonged…
No. The Ark did not belong there anymore.
The Old Order had ended and a New Order of Ministry was beginning.
Before this, only the High Priest could come before the Ark of the Lord but now, in David’s Tabernacle all that chose could come and worship The Lord there.
The singers and musicians ministered to The Lord before The Ark every day…
The People could come before Him whenever they pleased…
The Lord was “In the midst” of His People!
Today we have the churches and denominations that so many people trust in. They are always looking for “the Minister” to do the “ministering” for them. They continue to worship the same way they have for so long. The church is run the same way. These systems are part of the “Old Order” and “the Glory has departed”!
We must look for the Glory in the New Order!
We are living in a “Prophetic Time”!
The Prophet Amos said in Amos 9:11
“In that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old.”
James the Apostle refers to this Prophecy in Acts 15:16. He is showing that “The Church is the Restored Tabernacle of David” and that The Lord wants to be “In the Midst of His People” once again!
Even though he brought that message almost 2,000 years ago the old order still prevails! But the time is now for us to enter with “boldness into the Holy of Holies” and build our relationship with The Lord.
Remember what the Bible tells us 1 Peter 2:9
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”
So we are a “Royal Priesthood”…
Look at what it says that Jesus has done…
Revelation 1:6
“And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.”
The Purpose of The New Testament Church is to “Mature God’s People” so they are no longer babes but become Fully Mature as Kings and Priests unto God!
So, the goal of every believer should be to come into “David’s Tabernacle” and learn to “Worship in Spirit and in Truth”.
This is why The Lord “has raised up the Tabernacle of David and Restored it!
Today, while many in the Churches will continue to do things the way they always have, there is a “Remnant” who will enter the “Restored Tabernacle of David” and take their place as Kings and Priests”.
We don’t want to continue to do what others are doing week after week, but we want to “be prophetic” and enter into what The Lord has for us “in these last days”.
The New Order of Ministry is that every believer has a personal ministry to The Lord as New Testament Kings and Priests…
Thank you for your care with this word. Here is a mighty Q launching upwards through 2025 and beyond. Has the 7yrs of Daniel 70th week activated or similarly about too. Thank you s.
Thank you, Frank. What a blessing! Praying for you.
